The Vacancy

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Director to join our Smartspace team. Working within a team of Operations Managers and one other Operations Director, you will provide on a national basis, operational leadership to our site and project teams, consisting of Contracts Managers, Project Managers, Site and Section Managers as well as operational support to the wider Smartspace business.

As an Operations Director, you will report to the Construction Director and be a visible leader of health, safety and quality, leading project teams through bid, pre-construction and project handover, identifying and mitigating project, functional and business risk.

We are looking for an experienced individual who leads from the front, motivates and inspires teams to deliver brilliantly.

To be successful in the role you will already be in an operational leadership role and have demonstrable experience that includes site based delivery progression through to your current position, operating within the fit out and refurbishment sector. You will have successfully lead high performing project teams across a wide range of projects from fast paced repeat schemes to high value and complex projects, and been accountable for implementing functional improvement measures that have driven increased operational performance levels.
