What you will do
This level 2 Carpentry & Joinery apprenticeship is your opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced professionals, and earn a nationally recognized qualification while contributing to exciting projects. Whether you’re shaping bespoke furniture, installing frameworks, or crafting intricate joinery, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities to grow.
Your Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below
- Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of wooden structures, fittings, and furniture.
- Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Use a range of hand and power tools to complete tasks under supervision.
- Support the team in ensuring projects are completed to high standards and within deadlines.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies on-site and in the workshop.
- Creating door frames
- Hanging doors
- Fitting hinges
- Creating window frames and installing floor joists coverings
- Boxing in pipework
- Measuring, marking out, cutting, finishing, positioning, and securing wood
- Safely storing materials, without causing damage

Qualifications:
- To be considered for this apprenticeship you will need to have achieved a Grade 4 or C and above in Maths and English
You must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
