The Vacancy
Wates have an opportunity for a Commercial Administrator to join our team in our Enfield office to engage in full commercial administrative duties and provide ongoing support to the team in a few key contract areas.
Key Accountabilities will include:
- Producing and sending subcontractor pre works schedule of rates from supervisors’ scope of works.
- Produce scoping and pricing documents for checking.
- Inputting variations into client’s systems.
- Subcontractor application checking and processing.
- Releasing pre agreed invoices within our financial system.
- Tracking and clearing post inspection queries.
- Take new orders and code the works from booking sheets, photos and subcontractor invoices, passing it to the Quantity Surveyor for final review and the client for approval.
- Create invoices for the client and liaise with their payroll department to ensure payment is received within agreed terms.
We are looking for an experienced Administrator who is a confident communicator, highly computer literate (Microsoft suite – Word, Excel etc) and extremely organised. The successful individual will have ideally worked in a commercial/ maintenance industry, but this is not essential.
Given the nature of this position, you will need to undergo a Basic Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS) at offer stage.
