PROJECT DELIVERY LEAD
Wates have terrific opportunity for a Project Delivery Lead to join our team covering London and the South East and the need to on occasions support with other projects across the UK.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Project Delivery Lead you will work with the FM Project Manager and commercial team, and the wider Wates FM business to deliver projects of differing in value and complexity, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest possible standards of safety and quality and compliance to our Wates Operating standards.
We are looking for a Project Delivery Lead with strong demonstrable experience of leading a team with history of successful delivery of projects up to £2m in value. Sound understanding of construction phase H&S, Business-Critical systems, and Change Management Procedures with SMSTS, First AID, Membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent, NVQ Level 2-3 in Electrical or Mechanical Discipline.
To be successful in the role you will have strong interpersonal, problem solving and site management skills, be someone who can demonstrate the ability to plan, monitor & manage the business functions and project delivery whilst aligning the delivery of the overall business strategy.
Some of the other Key Accountabilities as Project Delivery Lead include:
- Own and lead all aspects of the project like planning, monitoring, coordination, controlling processes, summarising progress of the project and setting deadlines for completion of the project.
- Produce project documentation & feasibility to completion in line with Wates FM and Clients requirement and agree documentation format with Client Account Representative and support services function.
- Undertake regular project progress update and collaborate closely with the operational team for any change management requirements like plant down time etc.
- Defining acceptance criteria or collaborating with specialists to define acceptance criteria for project deliverables and works towards achieving stakeholder acceptance of deliverables.
- Lead regular client meetings with project progress status and updates.
