ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Project Directors are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to provide visible leadership, insight, direction and foresight in the safe and profitable delivery of schemes, while also providing excellent customer satisfaction and successfully develop a team.

As our Project Director you will:

  • Lead the project team and manage the supply chain to deliver projects to time, cost and quality targets and standards
  • Lead, manage and deliver operational excellence and efficiency through appropriate use of leadership indicator health check reviews through the Bid, Pre-construction and Construction phases of the project.
  • Deploy the use of digital technology and propose new modern methods of construction to reduce programmes and ensure health and safety risks are removed during the construction process.
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders, maintaining customer relationships, understanding contract terms and liaising with consultants and business development.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

You will be an experienced Project Director with experience in delivering large value complex project exceeding £100m. Your ability to communicate effectively is essential for managing customer relationships, and you should possess strong planning and organization skills to deliver operational excellence and efficiency along with a thorough understanding of contract terms.

You need to have strong leadership skills and confidence in your ability to lead, influence, and communicate with others to achieve targets. Financial awareness is also required to meet targets, along with a desire to continuously improve safety and sustainability performance. An understanding of the construction process impact on carbon and will be able to articulate how to reduce embodied carbon and carbon during construction operations.
