The Vacancy

We have an opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our Wates team within our Maintenance Division. You will be based out of our Finsbury Park office working with our payroll team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, populating and regular maintenance of spreadsheets
  • Check payroll, gross to net checks
  • Payroll reconciliation
  • Payroll processes and procedures
  • Manual calculations of net pay, grossing up
  • Communicate confidently and effectively at all levels in both written and verbal communication

Alongside the day to day activities we are at the beginning a journey to review all of our processes and ways of working so if you are comfortable with a level of ambiguity and manual input we would welcome your support to help us develop and improve our payroll service over the coming months.

To be successful you will be already working in a similar role, or be a fast learner, with confidence in all aspects of administrative tasks.

You will also be a confident communicator, value confidentiality and be able to meet tight deadlines.

This role is a 6 months Fix Term Contract (FTC) with a scope of going perm after that period.
