WATES are looking for a Standards Advisor to join our Construction team focussing on high profile, technically complex construction projects across multiple sectors across the country. ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Standards Advisors are a valuable part of our business, working as part of a team providing professional Quality support, advice and coaching to the business. You will engage with business units to deliver and promote the understanding and application and compliance with the WATES Operating Framework.

AS OUR STANDARDS ADVISOR YOU WILL:

  • Develop people’s skills on the practical application of the Operating Framework and quality management. Positively influence Wates teams and key supply chain members behaviours so they actively deliver customer satisfaction and strive to reduce mistakes, rework / recalls and defects
  • Provide training on the operating framework to the business
  • Review construction / service practice and actively promote understanding of quality management to help ensure compliance with statutory and client requirements
  • Undertake investigations into defective works notices that have been raised
  • Undertake compliance reviews where required by the National Quality Manager
  • Support the Regional Quality Managers with data collation and monthly reporting
