The Vacancy

Wates Developments have an opportunity for a Senior Secretary for a 12 month fixed term contract to join our established team in Leatherhead. This role supports our Strategic Portfolio Director and broader Projects and Commercial teams, ensuring efficient administrative and general secretarial operations.

We are seeking an experienced Secretary who brings strong organisational and communication skills to ensure smooth operations of diary and effective time management to support our Strategic Portfolio Director. This individual will also support the Projects and Commercial team internally and externally.

As a Senior Secretary you will:

  • Handle extensive scheduling, manage incoming calls, respond to emails, and arrange travel logistics efficiently.
  • Assist in planning, organising, and coordinating board meetings.
  • Provide support with office management tasks and ad-hoc duties.
  • Prepare draft communications and correspondences as needed.
  • Oversee and manage tailored systems unique to our operations.
