The Vacancy

Wates Group have an exciting new opportunity for a Sales Manager to join our growing Residential Sales and Marketing team. A multidisciplinary role, which will oversee the successful disposal of our open market sales across a number of schemes in London.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director (London), the Sales Manager will deliver the strategy, managing sales forecasts, rates, programme and responding when appropriate, to market changes. Working closely with our external (and internal) sales agents to ensure targets are met and completions are achieved.

The role holder will work with the wider team to ensure costs are controlled and revenue is maximised at all times, while monitoring and responding to customer feedback throughout the buying process and providing a seamless link into the Customer Care functions.

As our Sales Manager you will:

  • Manage sales programmes, releases and pricing in line with our strategies in order to deliver upon our business plan objectives.
  • Manage the day to day running of any marketing suites on or off site.
  • Work with the marketing team to ensure marketing activity drives sales momentum
  • Undertake extensive market research, competitor analysis and trends
  • Contributing to new business opportunities, research and sales strategy planning.

We are looking for experience in the London residential sales market, working with esteemed sales agents, developers, housebuilders, and consultancies. Proven track record in successfully selling a diverse portfolio of new development projects in London, encompassing both open market and shared ownership schemes. Adept at managing and executing sales campaigns with a deep understanding of the entire project lifecycle. Knowledge in lease obligations, estate management, and compliance with NHQC standards and consumer codes, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and adherence to regulatory requirements.

The role is ideally based in London and will require travel to our sites.
