The Vacancy

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Divisional Manager to join Wates within our Wates Living Space team – one of the UK’s leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector, maintaining over 500,000 homes nationwide every year. The role will cover contracts across Midlands.

Reporting into a Wates Living Space Regional Divisional Director, the primary focus for the role will be to win, direct and deliver through excellent management, profitable response maintenance of social housing stock for local authorities and housing associations.

Key Accountabilities will include:

  • Develop and performance manage the divisional strategy, from mobilisation to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, via delivering the promise principles.
  • Full profit and loss accountability for the region and lead major client accounts, managing all aspects of the account evolution, including expansion and organic growth, service levels, contract renewal, team development, retention strategy and overall profitability.
  • Successfully lead on all aspects of HS&E ensuring divisional reporting and delivery of our Zero Harm strategy and Bold Commitments.
  • Overall and complete accountability for the Customer relationship.

To be successful in the role you will have experience of growing and developing contracts, including success in delivering the highest levels of customer service at regional level, whilst ensuring the ongoing growth, improvement and profitability across all contracts.

Alongside this you will have the ability to influence at all levels and be a confident leader who is able to create value by shaping the future and delivering quality results.
