SES are currently looking for a Project Performance Director to join their Leadership team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Executive Managing Director, this role is crucial for driving project performance across the UK. Leading the operational function. With a primary focus on shaping a high performing culture, driving high performance in safety, Quality and programme management and compliance. The role will involve the creation of a cohesive operational strategy to optimise performance across existing and new business models.

As our Project Performance Director, some of your key responsibilities will include:


  • Oversee the overall operational function and performance, ensuring alignment with KPIs and robust business reporting and compliance.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive operational strategy that supports the wider business goals, including programme performance, sustainability, D&I, safety, quality, profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and resolve operational conflicts, from basic issues to complex disputes, and develop strategies for recovering monies through third parties.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with internal and external stakeholders, oversee planning, safety, and quality functions, and ensure effective recruitment and succession planning.

We are looking for a dynamic leader with strong communication and influencing skills to optimise business performance. This role involves chairing and leading key operational and leadership meetings, fostering customer relations, and representing the company at industry events. The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies in planning, sustainability, safety, quality, diversity, wellbeing, and talent management.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in project management, operational strategy, risk management, and financial oversight. They must excel in stakeholder management, including customer and supply chain relations, and be knowledgeable about current and emerging technologies. A strong understanding of business ethics is essential.
