Due to ongoing success here at Wates we have an opportunity for a Site Manager to join our planned maintenance team in the Leamington Spa area. As the Site Manager you will be working on this very exciting Decarbonisation project working with one of our social housing partners so ideally, we are looking for an experienced site manager in this field. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure a project is built safely, economically to the agreed timescales and quality standards. Key Accountabilities will include: Responsible for input into and programming the works/short-term programming of works. Manage Operatives, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to ensure quality control is always maintained along with Health and safety. Attend pre- and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements and assist with design solutions. This resulting in the successful delivery and handover of schemes. Carry out Weekly Site Progress reports per scheme that will be file electronically as well as submitting to Project Manager. Ensure that once works are completed, the full and completed job packs are sent to the Project Manager at the office along with completion details to guarantee a swift invoicing procedure to eliminate WIP (work In Progress) & certify cash flow. We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a successful track record of managing Decarbonisation projects within the social housing arena ideally within planned works. To be successful in the role you will be an effective communicator with a positive and engaging approach to providing site leadership. You will have strong IT skills (including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) with the ability to prioritise a wide range of tasks to set deadlines.

Divisional Manager

We have a great opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Divisional Manager to join Wates within our Wates Living Space team – one of the UK’s leading providers of planned and responsive maintenance services in the social housing sector, maintaining over 500,000 homes nationwide every year. The role will cover contracts across Midlands.Reporting into a Wates Living Space Regional Divisional Director, the primary focus for the role will be to win, direct and deliver through excellent management, profitable response maintenance of social housing stock for local authorities and housing associations. Key Accountabilities will include: Develop and performance manage the divisional strategy, from mobilisation to delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, via delivering the promise principles. Full profit and loss accountability for the region and lead major client accounts, managing all aspects of the account evolution, including expansion and organic growth, service levels, contract renewal, team development, retention strategy and overall profitability. Successfully lead on all aspects of HS&E ensuring divisional reporting and delivery of our Zero Harm strategy and Bold Commitments. Overall and complete accountability for the Customer relationship.To be successful in the role you will have experience of growing and developing contracts, including success in delivering the highest levels of customer service at regional level, whilst ensuring the ongoing growth, improvement and profitability across all contracts.Alongside this you will have the ability to influence at all levels and be a confident leader who is able to create value by shaping the future and delivering quality results.

Site Manager

The primary focus of this role will be to ensure a project is built safely, economically to the agreed timescales and quality standards. You will be working on social housing decarbonisation fund (Solar PV, EWI, IWI, Loft Insulation, Ventilation, Heating).Key Accountabilities will include: Responsible for input into and Programming the works/short-term programming of works. Manage Operatives, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to ensure quality control is maintained along with Health and safety at all times. Attend pre and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements, and assist with design solutions. This resulting in the successful delivery and handover of schemes. Carry out Weekly Site Progress reports per scheme that will be file electronically as well as submitting to Project Manager. Wates have an opportunity for an Assistant Site Manager to join our Wates team within our Planned Works division. You will be working in the Erith area on one of our contracts. The primary focus of this role will be to ensure a project is built safely, economically to the agreed timescales and quality standards. You will be working on social housing contracts Ventilation system installations, Water mains installations, Asbestos removal works and more.Key Accountabilities will include: Responsible for input into and Programming the works/short-term programming of works. Manage Operatives, Sub-Contractors and Suppliers to ensure quality control is maintained along with Health and safety at all times. Attend pre and post-inspection works and advise on appropriate action and job requirements, and assist with design solutions. This resulting in the successful delivery and handover of schemes.
