Digital Communications Executive

As a Creative Services Executive, you will play a vital role in our dynamic marketing and communications team, actively contributing to our business goals. Your blend of creativity, technical skills, and high standards is crucial for the success of our campaigns and maintaining our industry-leading brand.Your role involves diverse projects, campaign and channel management, and collaboration across teams, all while keeping a keen eye for detail. Optimise digital content for SEO, user experience, and engagement. Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns, tracking their performance and making data-driven improvements and optimisations. Lead and contribute to marketing and communications projects, taking ownership of key initiatives. Manage and organise marketing assets efficiently for easy access and utilisation. Provide design support using tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects Generate reports and metrics to demonstrate the success of marketing campaigns.The ideal candidate should have proven experience in digital marketing and campaign management, familiarity with HubSpot or similar marketing automation tools, and proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. They should have a strong understanding of SEO and website optimisation, knowledge of email marketing best practices, and a solid grasp of UX design principles to maximise user journey, conversion rate, and engagement.To be successful, you will have the ability to interpret and apply brand guidelines effectively, excellent attention to detail, and a strong eye for design aesthetics are essential. A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse campaign performance, along with strong teamwork and people skills, is crucial. Wates Group have an opportunity for a SHE Advisor to join our Advanced Manufacturing project in the Sunderland area.As a SHE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring Health & Safety (H&S) compliance and best practices across regional operations. Your primary responsibilities will involve providing support, guidance, and coaching to project teams, operations personnel, and supply chain partners to ensure effective deployment of the company's SHE policy.As our SHE Advisor you will: Stay updated with current and forthcoming health, safety, and environmental (SHE) legislation. Assist in maintaining the Company’s SHE Management System and associated documentation. Support Directors, Managers, Department Heads, and Supervisors in implementing the Company SHE Policy. Conduct site visits and inspections to: Monitor safety and environmental performance. Produce SHE Support Reports for management. Investigate and advise on hazardous practices or operations, with the authority to cease work if necessary, until remedial actions are taken. Board Assistant

Wates is currently looking for a Board Assistant to report to the Executive Managing Director – Construction. In this role, you will oversee the Board of Directors, providing comprehensive business secretarial services, coordinating activities among Board members, and ensuring the company's compliance with statutory obligations.As our Board Assistant, some of your key responsibilities will include: Provide comprehensive company secretarial support to Board members, including preparing timely documentation and critical business reports. Facilitate Board and Committee meetings by preparing agendas, setting deadlines, recording notes, and ensuring follow-up on actions. Manage all aspects of the Board meeting lifecycle, including planning, task coordination, and handling key queries. Co-ordinate with various departments to collect, organise, and present information, supporting corporate governance initiatives and updates.We are looking for a candidate with a strong understanding of the UK Companies Act, corporate governance codes, and relevant regulatory frameworks, coupled with experience in a company secretarial role. Proficiency in using secretarial software like Diligent Board and Microsoft Office is essential.
