Queen Elizabeth House fit-out
The new UK Government Hub in Edinburgh opened in 2020.
This state-of-the-art building gives the Government a visible presence in the heart of the Scottish capital. It has been designed as shared office space to support flexible and joint working. With 17,560 sqm of space, it now hosts 3,000 staff from over 10 departments.

Moving 6,000 civil servants into Leeds office
The move is part of the Government’s wider plan to build a strong Civil Service base across the UK. It also supports the ‘levelling up’ agenda to boost investment and increase opportunities outside the South-East. This fits with our ethos to support local economies and build a better future for local communities wherever we work.
We support the local community by introducing a scheme to help some of the area’s most vulnerable groups access jobs.

A low energy and high performance building
Our buildings are not just fit for people, they’re fit for the future. We care deeply about sustainability and rising to the zero-carbon challenge.
Feethams House in Darlington, which will be occupied by HM Treasury, is rated BREEAM Excellent and is a low energy and high performance building. This 42,000 sq.ft five storey office space opened in 2020 and is the first HM Treasury office outside of London.
