Project

The DNRC is an investment in the future of clinical rehabilitation in the UK for military personnel and will bring wholesale improvements in rehabilitative care.

It is a 48,000m² rehabilitation facility made up of 23 separate buildings served from an energy centre which utilises low carbon technologies such as PV and CHP.

We were appointed to provide full mechanical and electrical services to deliver the £300m purpose-built, state-of-the-art clinical facility at the Stanford Hall estate near Loughborough, providing bespoke solutions to a variety of specific treatment facilities such as upper and lower limb gyms and prosthetic workshop.

The prosthetic workshop will be a world-class facility leading prosthetic research and manufacture.

Achievements

By using our dedicated offsite manufacturing facility extensively on this project they have been able to move a major amount of activity off site, providing significant time and cost savings and creating a safer working environment. This resulted in 32,000 hours taken offsite.
