Nick Jones
Group Strategy Director
Nick was appointed Interim CFO in July 2022, following 16 years with Wates.
He joined the business in March 2006 as Head of Group Business Reporting and has subsequently held roles as the Finance Director of both the Housing Maintenance Business and for the last six years, the Construction Group. During this time Nick led three major acquisitions for the Group and sits as a Trustee for the Wates Pension Scheme
Prior to joining Wates Nick completed a degree in Construction Management before qualifying as a chartered accountant with KPMG specialising in the property and construction sectors both in the UK and Australia
Nick is married with three children and lives in Oxfordshire
