Commercial Land Director, Wates Developments

Victoria is responsible for leading on the expansion of the new commercial land business, Wates Strategic Space which sits with Wates Developments Group.

With over 10 years experience in commercial property, Victoria has joined Wates Developments Group to lead on the expansion of the new commercial land promotion business, Wates Strategic Space. Victoria started her property career at Screwfix, where she began to grow her knowledge of property acquisition and the industrial market. Following on from this Victoria took a role at Lidl in their retail property expansion team, here she was responsible for the acquisition, planning and development for sites for new food stores across the South of England. Success in this role led to a promotion to the Head of Warehouse Expansion & Portfolio for Lidl where she was responsible for acquiring new sites for large-box industrial development and managing the portfolio of existing assets.

Joining as Commercial Land Director at Wates in 2023, Victoria’s past experience will be put to use in growing the commercial land business and portfolio.
