Pupils at Greenway Junior School in Horsham have been having fun while learning how to lead a more sustainable life, under our new partnership with Sussex Green Living.

The children and their teachers enjoyed a whole school assembly before Key Stage 2 pupils went on to a forest school workshop – both delivered by the local charity.

Dedicated to composing and food waste reduction, the play-based sessions aim to help children develop their critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills.

A further nine local schools across Horsham District are due to benefit from the partnership, thanks to a £5,000 donation from our Developments division.

The two organisations share a common purpose. Sussex Green Living is on a mission to educate, inspire and empower local people to live in greater harmony with the natural world. Our Developments team – which specialises in residential and commercial land, planning and development – is committed to creating places where people and planet thrive.
