Wates secures position on major CCS Framework
Leading repairs and maintenance provider, Wates has been appointed to the Crown Commercial Services (CCS) Workplace Services (FM Marketplace Phase 2) Framework further strengthening its relationship with the Ministry of Defence.
Running for two years, the framework will facilitate the procurement of defence facilities management, housing services and security and is designed to create better value for money for public sector customers.
Wates Living Space has taken a position on the framework, which comprises defence and civilian housing maintenance. This includes repairs, statutory inspections, void preparation and ground maintenance regionally throughout the UK.
The Workplace Services Framework is expected to bring together up to £11.4bn of public spending over its duration and will be utilised by the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) for the provision of building and maintenance services for the Armed Forces.
David Morgan, Managing Director of Wates Living Space, commented:
Through its FM Workplace Services framework, CCS has developed a means by which vital housing and security services can be procured efficiently to maximise value for the public purse.
Ensuring continuity of service is a fundamental part of the framework and we are very proud to have secured positions on two lots for housing repairs and maintenance, a testament to our reputation for delivering consistently high quality services across the UK.
