Wates wins Award for Twycross Zoo
Wates FM has picked up a prestigious industry award in recognition of its work on corporate social responsibility at Twycross Zoo.
The award for ‘Partners in CSR – Public Sector’ was jointly presented to Wates and its client Twycross Zoo, at the Premises & Facilities Management Awards (PFM) 2018, only two years into Wates’ relationship with Twycross, where the company is delivering services from landscaping to mechanical and electrical works, as well as maintenance and refurbishment of the zoos 64 buildings.
Underpinned by the Reshaping Tomorrow framework, Wates have supported the Zoo on a journey to a sustainable future. This has included co-funding an intern through Wates Giving with Loughborough University to establish benchmarks in energy, water and waste reduction.
This is the third PFM award for partnership Wates Smartspace has won since 2012, previously picking up awards with Standard Chartered Bank and Mercedes Benz AMG.
Its a genuine honour to have our partnership with Twycross Zoo recognised by the industrys premier awards panel. Winning this award underpins our partnership and strategic alignment.
