Home News Growing our FM portfolio with hybrid working specialist

Our Facilities Management (FM) business has been appointed by the global leader in hybrid working, International Workplace Group (IWG), to deliver building maintenance for over 250 sites across the UK

The three-year contract includes mechanical and electrical services, additional reactive works and projects for the UK’s largest workspace network on behalf of IWG.

As part of our continued drive to decarbonise the built environment, the team will also work closely with IWG to identify opportunities to enhance building efficiency across all sites.

The new contract with IWG forms part of Wates’ increasingly expanding FM portfolio, which includes a range of hard and soft FM services for private and public sector customers. Core sectors include commercial offices, research and development and manufacturing.

We are really excited to be working with IWG. With our shared values we can already see that our working relationship will be a collaborative one, and we are looking forward to adding value as an FM partner.

Working in this way is particularly valuable when it comes to sustainability, allowing us to take a ‘one team’ approach to improving efficiency in our shared journey to net zero.”

Antony Collett,

Managing Director of Wates’ Facilities Management business

We are delighted to be working with Wates. Our shared commitment to data-informed decisions and a positive environmental impact will allow IWG to improve and grow our product offering in the UK.”
