Wates launches North West recruitment drive
Wates, the contractor set to build the new Liverpool Cruise Terminal Hotel, has commenced a major recruitment drive across the North West to support its pipeline of public and private sector projects across the region.
The contractor, which was appointed to the North West Construction Hub for the third consecutive time in January this year, is recruiting for a number of site-based positions including site and project management, and quantity surveying roles.
The announcement of Wates intentions to grow its North West team comes as the business looks to increase its high rise residential project portfolio across the North West in addition to expanding its presence in its core markets of commercial, leisure, education and blue light.
Wates project portfolio in the region also currently includes Merseyside Fire and Rescue Services new Saughall Massie Fire Station, two new schools on behalf of Star Academies in Blackburn and Manchester and the redevelopment of Stockport Colleges Wellington Road campus.
