Wates has completed its second fit out project at Winchester’s Royal Hampshire County Hospital, providing substantial upgrades to the Pathology Department. 

Wates today announces the opening of its new head office for the South West in Newbury, as it relocates staff from the old site in Basingstoke.

This is the largest building project ever undertaken on behalf of the University and will be its largest teaching and research facility.

Wates Construction has been appointed to the University of Oxfords Construction Framework with a potential pipeline of work worth £120m – £150m every year.

Wates has retained its place on the fourth generation Southern Construction Framework (SCF), which promises a potential £5.25bn pipeline of work across the South.

Steff has been at Wates since 1995, spending his initial 18 years in a regional capacity including five years as Regional Director. Following this, he led the pre-construction function for Wates Construction Group, including SES Engineering Services, for more than six years.

Joining Wates in 2023, Bradley uses his expertise to help grow the pipeline of work in the Southern region.
