Residential land
When developing residential schemes, we integrate sustainability from the outset. This approach has been vital to our business success, helping us to engage positively with local stakeholders, including local planning authorities.
Commercial land
We’re committed to ensuring sustainable outcomes in our commercial schemes. We’re building our commercial land portfolio, making sure that the workspaces support climate, nature, water and people.
Thriving places
Whether we’re developing homes, commercial spaces, or growing our biodiversity habitat sites, we look to the long-term, and are committed to ensuring we leave behind vibrant, resilient, and inclusive places.
Our role in the early stages of the development process gives us a unique opportunity to future proof a place and maximise sustainability outcomes.
We’re seeking ways to ensure inclusion becomes more of a consideration at design stage, so that everyone of all different ages, abilities, and backgrounds to feel at home in the places that we help to create.
Thriving planet
Climate change, water stress, and a collapsing natural world threaten us all. We take these issues seriously, with our science-based ‘Net Zero by 2045’ target a promise to future generations.
We’re exploring opportunities to use embodied carbon assessments in our master planning, and our commercial spaces will target BREEAM Excellent. We are also working closely with our Joint Venture partners to explore solutions for the homes we build. We’re committed to creating spaces where people and nature thrive, with new biodiversity principles being embedded across all schemes. We’re also collaborating with our consultants to find every opportunity to support biodiversity net gain on our schemes
