Gripple – An innovative Fast Trak system makes M&E installations even quicker and simpler.
Fast Trak is a pre-fabricated, trapeze bracket solution designed for speed, flexibility and efficient use of space.
It is widely used for the installation of electrical containment, pipework, ductwork and other mechanical services, particularly in restricted spaces. Our M&E suspension solution is made up of our prefabricated slotted channel and patented ‘Track’ and ‘Cartridge’ which allows contractors to safely install a complete trapeze bracket up to six times faster than traditional rod and channel supports. Gripple’s ideas and innovation department are focussed on creating products which support contractors in speeding up delivery of projects, improving health and safety and site logistics.
The simplicity of Fast Trak, coupled with the availability of Gripple’s technical support, installation design and BIM services allows us to do that effectively. Recent Fast Trak applications have included the suspension of electrical containment, rectangular ductwork and pipework and where ceiling space is less than 800mm of construction and refurbishment projects such as residential and commercial buildings, retail, hotels, healthcare settings and transportation hubs.
Our Fast Trak system and accessories allowed us to save an estimated 85,023 hours from M&E installation schedules, 369 tonnes worth of embodied carbon and 163 tonnes worth of material weight from being delivered to building sites in the UK & Ireland across 2023. These savings occurred as Fast Trak became a direct replacement for the more cumbersome traditional method of threaded rod and channel supports which are often used to suspend building services.
