Comfort Frame – An IWI modular solution, designed to significantly improve the thermal efficiency of poorly performing residential and non-residential buildings.

Home Innovation Partners Comfort Frame – An IWI modular solution, designed to significantly improve the thermal efficiency of poorly performing residential and non-residential buildings.

Our Fabric First Internal Wall Insulation provides a ‘Comfort Frame’ that minimises heat loss during cold weather and reduces heat gain during warmer months.

Comfort Frame combines off-site manufacturing with unique de-coupled IWI insulation technology to deliver a fire-safe (A2,s1,d0), non-invasive solution that enhances thermal comfort, reduces energy consumption, eliminates mould, and minimizes environmental impact, creating healthier spaces for both residential and commercial applications.

This innovation keeps homes warm, reduces energy consumption, and future-proofs against dampness, mould & condensation. With a typical elevation taking just one day to install, Comfort Frame is non-invasive for tenants, eliminating the need for decanting and offering significant time and cost benefits as a scalable energy efficiency measure. Our system is installed by specialist installers trained in the application.

Here’s why Comfort Frame is becoming the go-to solution for energy efficiency:

Installation Process:

1. Survey & Custom Design: Each installation begins with a thorough survey of the property, focusing on cold, outside-facing walls. The system is then custom-designed and manufactured for a perfect fit.

2. Efficient Setup: The installation starts with the application of a vapour control membrane to the existing wall structure, followed by the fitting of the base, head, and wall tracks. An air gap of 25mm is ensured between the insulation and the wall to prevent cold bridging.

3. Panel Installation: Panels are then placed into position, with simple adjustments for a firm, level fit. A stud secures the panels together, creating a strong and seamless joint.

4. Reinforced Strength: Compression dampers are added strategically, creating a bi-directional force that strengthens the wall structure.

5. Finishing Touches: Once the panels are in place, the jointing tape is applied to the rebated joints, followed by a quick-drying joint compound to complete the installation.
