The annual Considerate Constructors Schemes (CCS) National Site Awards recognise projects and sites that have raised the bar for considerate construction. In 2019, 25 sites across the Wates Group were recognised for exceptional standards of consideration for their local communities, environment and workforce.
Wates Project Manager Nick White won a silver award and the praise of judges in the ‘Higher Education’ category for the National Horizons Centre in Darlington, which had already achieved platinum status in the Project Excellence awards earlier this year.
Wates wins Gold, Silver and overall at Construction Manager Of The Year Awards 2018. Neil Lock was awarded Construction Manager of the Year for his work on the challenging V&A Museum extension project. Gold Medal winners were John Laycock and Dominic Hattee with a silver medal for Dave Nott.
The PFM Awards celebrate the best of the outsourced facilities market, recognising the importance of collaboration in successful service delivery. Wates and Twycross Zoo won the ‘Partners in CSR – Public Sector’ award.
