Making Merseyside a safer, stronger, healthier community.
We have completed a design and build and environmental improvement project for Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service that remediates a former glass manufacturing site and former coal colliery into a community fire station for St Helens in Merseyside.
This two-storey, three bay Fire Accommodation Project at Milverny, St Helens, incorporates a training tower, community and prevention rooms, lecture rooms and full FF&E fit out.
The project saw the demolition, bulk excavation and ground re-engineering of the former Pilkington’s glass manufacturing facility and previously a coal mining colliery. A heavily contaminated site requiring extensive remediation and ground engineering.
