Simon Kydd
Head of Healthcare
A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Building, Simon has 24 years of experience within the built environment, 16 of which have been in the healthcare sector.
Simon joined Wates in September 2021 as Head of Healthcare, having previously been Head of Healthcare at the engineering consultancy WSP UK, where he had led all its health sector work in the UK since 2014.
His previous roles include Head of Healthcare Market Development at Balfour Beatty and Head of Healthcare for Mansell plc.
Among the major projects, he has worked on are Cleveland Clinic, London; UCLH Proton Beam Clinic, London and the redevelopment of Leeds Hospital.
