Wates secures major contract with MoJ
Wates has been appointed to deliver a major contract for the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) to fit-out and refurbish 12 probation offices across England.
Valued at up to £10m, the two year contract includes a national office fit out and refurbishment of offices across London and the South regions. Wates secured the contract as part of a major programme by the MoJ to modernise the estates being used by the Probation Service in England and Wales.
Wates has a long-standing relationship with the MoJ and has delivered several projects, including most recently, a major contract to upgrade 21 courts in order to maintain operations throughout and beyond the Covid pandemic.
The MoJ is one of our key customers, and this appointment further solidifies the relationship we have developed over a number of years.
I’m exceptionally proud of our team’s unrivalled experience of working in a fast-track fit-out environment, which was recognised by the MoJ, leading us to secure this competitive tender.”
