Wates to enhance fire safety measures in Barnet Homes
Wates is continuing to grow its presence in London with an appointment to carry out fire safety works on behalf of Barnet Homes.
The compliance contract, valued at approximately £3m, will see Wates installing new fire protection sprinkler systems and fire alarms to three 18-storey tower blocks in the London Borough of Barnet.
The 46-week contract will also include extensive new fire protection measures to communal areas, including entrance doors, fire doors and corridors.
This work is the latest contract for Wates in the Borough following an appointment in 2018 by Barnet Council to deliver maintenance works to 98 public buildings, including libraries, leisure centres, offices and care facilities.
