Jon is responsible for our Needspace business that manages a portfolio of flexible workspace centres across London and the South East.

Jon has 30 years of experience in the Commercial Property Sector, starting his career in a small practice in Woking before becoming an Associate Director in the West End with DTZ. He specialised in advising tenants and landlords on office buildings across Mayfair and the Victoria office Markets. He has a strong background in rent reviews, L&T disputes and is a registered valuer and previously a LPA Receiver for a number of High Street Banks and lenders.

Prior to joining Wates and Needspace he headed up the professional division at SHW responsible for L&T, rating and valuation work across the firm and seven offices. Jon joined Wates in February 2020 undertaking project work across the regional offices before joining Needspace in 2021. Jon became Managing Director in April 2022 when Charlie Wates stepped down.
